New Hippodrome Hardware

I know it may sound hokey, but one thing that always excited me as a child was when my dad would come home and tell me about celebrities that came into his store or of TV shows and magazines that featured hardware courtesy of New Hippodrome.  I distinctly remember calling home from college and being instructed to watch that night’s Saturday Night Live because a broomstick the store sold them would be prominently featured in a skit.

Hippodrome Hardware is incredibly proud of our corporate accounts and of the fact that we’ve had some for decades.  How?  We offer the bend-over-backwards kind of personalized service that the big places who will remain unnamed simply cannot provide.  That’s why after all these years you can still see our products in shows like SNL.  The toilet paper dispensers in this skit from last week’s episode are proudly brought to you by New Hippodrome Hardware.

When you need a weird little, expensive looking, lightbulb and you’re anywhere near New Hippodrome Hardware in Manhattan then you’re about to be happy. Not only will your needs for the eccentric illuminator be met but the other need, the one you forgot to pay attention to, the one that requires you enjoy the company of good people, that’ll be met too. If you meet the manager. If you walk in and you witness the banter that ricochets around the store, usually artfully conducted by the manager. And I get the feeling that’s all the time.
